Just wanted to share with you some work I've been doing, in this case a battered T-55, somewhere in middle east. This a really bad model by Lindberg that I received from a friend. Tried to make something good about it.
Comments and constructive criticism is always welcomed!

Looks awesome! Really love the beat-up look. Only thing of note would probably be the tracks on the left-side of the vehicle: some parts look off and look like they're floating.

A pretty decent result out of a pretty awful starting point. Well done.

I agree that you did a great job on this tank!

Depending upon what the problems are with this kit, giving it to young person to try to learn about modeling may backfire, if they get too frustrated. Just my $0.02. Was

You did a fine job on this tank. These old dogs can be picked up cheaply at shows and on eBay and they often come in handy if you need to replace parts that are lost or inferior to those in the Lindberg kit.

Your build captures some of the paint scheme of this overhead photo of Syrian T-55's in Aleppo in 2017 (click on photo to enlarge it). The camo (or lack of) certainly shows multiple combinations/crossovers used on the 3 vehicles. Either way, the photo certainly reveals the 'attractiveness' of the schemes, with that 'anything goes' appearance. Note the individual in the left center of the photo.

Also, check out the top left and center right T-55's with a laser rangefinder mounted on top of, and slaved to, the main gun. All 3 also appear with what seems to be the Luna IR searchlight system, which is elevated by a tilt mechanism attached to elevate with the main gun...a feature found in the new Takom Tiran 4. God knows the original owners of these three vehicles and when, or who, did the mods...and whether these 3 have hints of ever being Tiran 4's or Tiran 5's, or even a mix of the two. Who knows!

What I do know is this photo will be my blank slate for duplicating the schemes depicted.
