Introduction

Reality in Scale is a definitely active company regarding production in several items that belong to the scenery – presentation category for figures, vigniettes and dioramas .

Plenty of different and interesting accessories compile their range, and I bet everyone can find something really interesting for any occasion.

Under scope here we have their Classic Wall Fountain resin kit with code 35073.

The kit

The kit came packed in a thick envelope , with air bubbles protection inside . And it was the happiness of the modeler ! Just one piece !

Outside the envelope there was a picture of the item unpainted . Opening the envelope we found also a sheet of information, with nice pictures of different real fountains , that could be some painting ideas. Some instructions are included of how to prepare and prime the kit. It was really good to see this in a scenery kit, as most companies do not care to include something like this . A piece of fishing line was also included to connect the stream of water with the water in the basin of the fountain. Contains real enamel "Drinking Water" signs for 6 countries also . These small things show attention to detail and that’s always god for the customer.

The kit is supposed to be for 1/35 scale . but it definitely suits easily to 54mm figures with its 10 cm of height.

Theme

The kit as, was told already represents a nice Classic Wall Fountain .

Quality and Detail

To be honest I did not had a previous touch with Reality in Scale resin stuff, but only with their printed accessories.Their high quality lies definitely in all their range I guess ! The gray resin casting is totally flawless, and among the top companies of this category.I honestly could not find any problem either as an air bubble or some bad printing point . The level of sculpting is accordingly high , which is a pleasure. Intense sculpting, clear lines, perfect symmetry makes the kit precious.

Painting

As I told before , a sheet with many color pictures is included and gives a lot if different ideas for painting this little gem . It should be a great fun.

Conclusion – Final Verdict

I was really happy with this review. And that is because in a hard financially period, you must really try to buy value for your money.

And this kit from Reality in Scale is definitely included in this category . It will definately make you smile. :)

I started modelling 27 years ago with some 1/72 planes and military vehicles. Soon the diorama bug got into me and with Sheperd Paynes books I dug in. I loved to build dioramas and military vehicles till the Vietnam Era. I don't like modern stuff so much. 4 years ago I had a crush on figure painti...
